My inner party animal came to life last Friday the 13th when my work friends and I decided to hit a hip, hot spot in Bonifacio Global City. Valkyrie at The Palace, as what it’s called, is probably the go-to club of millennials like me. (Oo no, I still belong to the group!) Anyhow, we left the office at around 6:30 and hopped in a cab that drove us to Kriselda’s pad for some nice dinner. It was like a sleepover of high school girls that I truly miss. 🙁
After taking a shower and gussying up, we went to Valkyrie and since we were on a ‘guest list’, it took us about ten minutes before the crew allowed us in. It wasn’t much that of a hassle because there weren’t too many people when we arrived. Duh, ang aga namin! We were there at 11:30 no.
Welcome to Valk, Hotline Bling crew! 🙂
We got a table for Php10,000 which was consumable so we asked for Baileys Irish Cream, San Miguel Light (beer for me! yay!), Jägermeister, and Tequila Rose.
I didn’t try this one anymore because some lessons are learned the hard way. (My friends would know!) But according to them, malupit ito! Sobrang init sa katawan. Well, just so you know, this bomb contains 35% alcohol that’s why it’s – let me repeat what I wrote – malupit!
Here’s to never growing up! 🙂 And before I forget, we were able to spot a few celebrities during our stay at Valkyrie. We saw Aljur Abrenica who looked so thin and teen star Jane Oineza.
One of the Hotline Bling crew is missing! Unfortunately, Mama Pong has to take a seat because her feet was killing her. This is why I don’t wear heels whenever I get the chance to party. Hihi.
Thank God DJ Mars Miranda played a couple of good songs like Dessert. What? It’s a party anthem I’d love to dance to over and over again.
Have you noticed how much I love jumping? Haha! Eh kasi naman, kapag hindi ako aware sa song, jump lang ng jump. Good vibes!
Sige, talon pa more! Haha!
And then there’s confetti! Woop! This moment made me feel younger. Haha! Nawala lahat ng iniisip ko while enjoying the party at Valkyrie. I hope to back sooner, but with my college friends naman. I didn’t take more photos because I wanted to “live in the moment” and just enjoy the night/day. As for the videos, some things are better left unpublished. Haha!
Thanks a lot, Valkyrie, for having such good music although I still can’t get over the fact that the DJ didn’t play Empire State of Mind. Ang classic kaya ‘nun! We – I – had so much fun. It was a night/day to remember, indeed. See you soon!
