There’s a new kid app in town and it is set to be among the top shopping sites in the country. Last week, it was announced that Shopee took the number two spot in the shopping category for App Store and Google Play in the Philippines – wait for it – only after a year of existence.
My recent trip to Cebu was full of work-related stuff. It’s unfortunate that I didn’t get to see the beauty of it but I promised myself to go back without my laptop and checking my email. 🙂
The long(est) weekend in Manila begins today. Because of the #APEC2015 being held in the country today, it has been decided to cancel work (woop!) in the Metro for two days. Pero I chose to take a leave on Friday para tuloy-tuloy na ‘yung “break that I deserve.” Haha! This so-called “break” is actually a good and a bad thing – well for me, at least. I think it’s a good time to reflect on life and stuff that follows. Bad naman kasi this means more time on the Internet: Facebook-ing, tweeting, and… shopping! Hay.
I was never the girl who would go after beauty trends, but ever since I started wearing matte lipstick, my life changed. My inner bookworm came to life last Friday when I took a trip to National Bookstore at SM North EDSA. Since it was a holiday, I expected a stressful book shopping but I was shocked to see just a handful of people going around the store. My eyes glistened upon seeing the 20% SALE sign on top of each shelf so I took a deep breath and told myself, “Let the games begin.”
