An out-of-the-country trip is never complete without a little shopping. I’m not keen on buying clothes and shoes abroad, but most of you would know that I have this thing for skincare products. I always look for beauty boutiques whenever I visit another country. I bet you can imagine my excitement upon seeing (finally!) SASA and Colourmix stores during my two-day tour in Macau.
My mum was extra generous that she bought this Happy Skin x Disney Princess Liquid Matte Lipstick Set in Cinderella and Ariel – for us, actually. Although we have been talking about this for quite some time now, I never thought she’d really go for it since she’s not (yet) a fan of Happy Skin. Magbabago ‘yung pananaw nya, once she uses this.
I used to be a sucker for all things Korean – from K-Dramas to K-Pop, I’d always keep up with the latest trends through Allkpop and Koreaboo. Unfortunately, I lost interest in watching Korean soap operas and listening to new albums of my former favorite singers. I broke up with my fascination over these fads a long time ago (two years ago?), but I’m keeping my obsession with Korean cosmetics alive and intact. My go-to K-beauty brands continue to satisfy my needs, and wala akong balak na palitan ‘yung routine ko kasi sa totoo lang, ang laki ng in-improve ng skin ko after sticking to a proper regimen – thanks to Etude House, Nature Republic, The Face Shop, and Skinfood. 🙂
Hey beauty junkies, our prayers have been answered! Sephora is now finally available in the Philippines through its online store Sephora.PH. Excitement doesn’t even cover how I feel with the fantabulous news I woke up to last week. OH MY GOD. Ubusan na ba ng pera?! Waaaaaahhhh!
The long(est) weekend in Manila begins today. Because of the #APEC2015 being held in the country today, it has been decided to cancel work (woop!) in the Metro for two days. Pero I chose to take a leave on Friday para tuloy-tuloy na ‘yung “break that I deserve.” Haha! This so-called “break” is actually a good and a bad thing – well for me, at least. I think it’s a good time to reflect on life and stuff that follows. Bad naman kasi this means more time on the Internet: Facebook-ing, tweeting, and… shopping! Hay.
